Purpose of the role:
As the Senior Integration Designer, you will be working with some of the most recognizable global brands in football, which includes The FA Cup, England Men’s and Women’s teams and the WSL. You will be responsible for guiding the team, selling to clients and leading by example with outstanding design, artwork, animation and creative thinking. You will be responsible for all the output of your team that covers the design application and production of Through the Line marketing campaigns and retailer communications covering all executions.
Please note, this role is a 6 month FTC.
A key part of your day to day will be spotting opportunities for the inhouse team or Agency and to communicate to the FA how we can be a best fit for them. Other key areas will be to work with the team to increase the quality of the creative output and to identify areas where training is needed. Create, prepare and edit design and artwork across a range of media including general print collateral – brochures, inserts, flyers etc. Press Ads, POS and all types of advertising displays
Work accurately to tight deadlines, being aware of budgets and time spent, having solid business acumen.
Work with the teams to ensure the integrity of the original concept/brief
Understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines where relevant
Use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork, animation and production challenges
Complete all personal administration, including timesheets, accurately and promptly.
Understand the company’s quality control, process and systems employing a methodical approach
Provide the business with best value by estimating and managing time accurately, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality
Take responsibility for continuous personal development and learning, helping to identify objectives and opportunities for skills development. Be pro-active and positive and to embrace and be motivated by the prospect of being challenged, looking to make an impact in the wider business.
Build a strong working relationship with the internal clients at the FA Relationships
You will liaise day to day with the Studio Manager and attend regular production meetings. You will own client interactions across all creative work and look to build new ones to help strengthen our role at The FA Lean on the Head of Design and Creative director at Indicia to help support your learning, design craft and management skills to help better your team FA Client –
A good understanding of football and competitions is key as one to one briefings are encouraged
Key Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design skills supported by conceptual skills and creative thinking A robust understanding of typography, layout and design which you will be able to deploy quickly and accurately Experience in developing, executing visual identities and brand guidelines Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite package, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and Sketch, XD or similar Experience of After effects and motion graphics and directing teams to deliver engaging film experiences Background in delivering creative solutions across multiple platforms, from brief to completion Experience of working in partnership to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the brief We are an equal opportunities employer and as such, will make any reasonable adjustments to accommodate the needs of all candidates.
