Assistant First Team Goalkeeping Coach – The Role: The Assistant First Team Goalkeeping Coach will assist and support the First Team Goalkeeping Coach and other first team coaching staff in their current training/match preparation and review processes. The role also includes overseeing loan goalkeepers’ development and scouting. Assistant First Team Goalkeeping Coach – Key Responsibilities: You will work with senior team goalkeepers using your technical expertise to develop their playing styles to ensure they are prepared to achieve goals and targets at the highest level of elite football performance. You will also work with the First Team Goalkeeping Coach and Goalkeeper Analysts to ensure that all training sessions and games are planned, reviewed, and delivered to an elite level. You will also help create and deliver elite level development plans for individual players, based on the varying needs of the club to ensure each Goalkeeper is developed and empowered to perform at the top of their game. Assistant First Team Goalkeeping Coach – You: As a technical expert with significant experience of working with elite athletes, you’ll hold at least a UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence, and be working towards a UEFA A License. You will hold or be working towards FA Youth Modules 1 and 2. You’ll also have experience of scouting goalkeepers both in person, and via video analysis and have experience of optimising talent identification.
