Camera Operator – The Role: Calling all camera operators! Brighton & Hove Albion FC have a fantastic new opportunity to join our media team as Camera Operator. We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with an artistic eye, and who excels in a live environment. We ask that when uploading your CV that you include a showreel of your work (this can be a link included in your covering letter or CV) Camera Operator – Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for filming and editing engaging, entertaining and newsworthy video content for club channels. Covering women’s team and under-23 matches will be one of your main responsibilities, but the rest of the time you will be filming men’s and women’s team training, feature interviews and press conferences, plus anything else going on around the club. You will also need to liaise with national and international broadcasters, plus learn various aspects of matchday production at the Amex. Your coverage of the women’s and under-23 teams will take you all over the country, therefore we also require you to be flexible with your working hours. Camera Operator – You: The post-holder would ideally hold a degree level qualification in media, videography or similar. It is essential to have at least one years’ experience of filming professional sport or live events, plus a knowledge of feature interview techniques and proficiency with Adobe Premiere. The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
