Albion in the Community (AITC) are the official charity of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. The job AITC are recruiting for a Communications Manager to come and join the team. The position will play a crucial role in developing Albion in the Community’s communications activity including helping to build the charity’s profile and reputation to increase participation in its programmes and increase awareness amongst potential supporters. What does the day to day look like? You will be responsible for creating, planning and implementing campaigns that raise awareness of the work of AITC to support the increase in participation on programmes and help to generate income for the charity. You will lead on the PR and marketing campaigns to promote and support events, fundraising and partnerships including the Premier League, American Express and other local organisations. You will identify opportunities to raise awareness of the charity’s work and gain media coverage or exposure through local, regional or national press, radio, online and TV broadcast and deal with all media enquiries from external bodies, acting as a point of contract.
