Community Coach – The Role: Albion in the Community are currently recruiting for a pool of community coaches to join their football pathway department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated football coach to join our award-winning charity. This is your chance to share your experience and knowledge to contribute to your local community. Community Coach – Key Responsibilities: Are you someone who has a passion for coaching and developing? If this sounds like you, please continue reading. As a Community Coach you will be responsible for coaching football/multi-sports and developing all ability in children and young adults, mainly in the 4-18 age group, whilst supporting the development officers with relationship management and securing new business. These roles will involve primarily delivering our football pathway, after school clubs and soccer school provisions. You will act as a role model and ambassador on behalf of Albion in the Community, whilst having a clear drive to raise the quality of coaching delivered throughout Sussex. Community Coach – You: Essential: – Holds a FA Level 1 coaching qualification – A member of the FA Licensed Coaches’ club – A valid FA Emergency Aid certificate – A valid FA Safeguarding Children certificate The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check). Desirable: – Experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions in football or multi-sport – Experience of working with or in schools, colleges and with youth groups.
