Curriculum Lead – The Role: AITC has an exciting opportunity to be part of the charity’s schools team. As Curriculum Lead you will be responsible for the day-to-day development and delivery of all our cross-curricular programmes. Curriculum Lead – Key Responsibilities: Working in a range of schools across Sussex, you will deliver and support the teaching and learning of all in-school cross-curricular interventions, using football and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club as a theme to engage and inspire students. You will work closely with the Schools Manager to develop existing and new cross curricular programmes. You will ensure that there are effective and high-quality programmes in place for each intervention, including but not limited to schemes of work, lesson plans, resources, delivery materials and assessment procedures. Curriculum Lead – You: The successful candidate can demonstrate professional experience or qualification from youth work, teaching and or mentoring. It would be essential for the candidate to have knowledge and understanding of teaching within sport and education, National Curriculum and UK education policies and how to give positive and targeted support to students who have special educational needs.
