Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club have an opportunity for a HR Administrator to join the team. Location: American Express Community Stadium, Brighton Salary: Negotiable Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends Job Type: Full Time – Permanent Who are Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club? The Role: The people services administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the people & culture team covering the full lifecycle of employment. The focus will be on HR compliance ensuring the club is fully compliant with internal policy and external control mechanisms which will include working to attain: – Reference checks – Local and international criminal reference checks (CRC/DBS) – Qualification verification – Mandatory training completion You will also coordinate the procurement of staff equipment (including laptops and mobile telephones via our trusted partners) and support the recruitment team with scheduling and facilitating interview processes. What does the day to day look like? Reporting to the people services manager and working closely with the talent team, the people services administrator will coordinate activities to ensure compliance with club policies. This will include coordinating activity in the Club’s referencing and CRC/DBS system, coordinating onboarding activity in the Club’s HR information system, and raising purchase orders for ordering equipment and supplies for new and existing staff members. You will support in the management of a HR mailbox, ensuring that queries and questions are answered and allocated appropriately to relevant team members. What We Need: – You will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of human resource activities and will ideally have some experience of administration in an HR and recruitment environment and a competency in working with a variety of systems and tools – You’ll hold a qualification which includes a HR element or have attained or be working towards attainment of a CIPD qualification – You will work accurately and autonomously at pace whilst also supporting the wider team – You will be methodical, process driven and able to confidently communicate status updates with the deadlines they are working toward – You will be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check) Our values are: – Treat People Well – Exceed Expectations – Aim High, Never Give Up – Act with Integrity – Make it Special What is in it for you?
