This is an opportunity for an experienced New Business Development Manager to join Origin to help plan and drive the ambitious plans to grow and invest in the future success of the business. What you will be doing: Increase sales in line with the company objectives Identify and research potential new business opportunities Cold call as and when appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities are sought Follow up on Origin generated leads Discuss on going sales and marketing support, including any technical assistance as and when required Co-ordinate showroom/factory visits Liaise with relevant departments to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and support is provided Work with the wider team to develop proposals for clients Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales Submit weekly/monthly progress reports to ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM system Liaise with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner Who you are: A natural ability to build rapport and relationships in the Construction community, strong negotiation skills and know how to close the deal. A strong work ethic and moral compass – you are committed to providing quality service to all customers. Be a confident presenter, self-motivated, a strategic thinker with the ability to think on their feet. Well organised with a methodical approach to sales, capable of planning the most effective use of your time.
