The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager and Copywriter for our client who are based in London, this role is solely working from home, although if you want to work in the office too then that’s available to you too . As the Social Media Manager , you will need: Good knowledge of football, football current news, and football culture and sport in general! Personable, has a strong character but practices humility, Extremely strong understanding of the English language. Understand sports betting culture and social media content around sport betting. Strong understanding of all social media platforms and how to publish on them. High attention to detail in all work you produce. Exhibit a high level of knowledge of social media content/trends, and how the two relate to each other. Demonstrate a pro-active nature in solving client issues. Work independently and within a team. Excellent time-management skills. Be available in the evenings and at weekends. They operate in social media within multiple industries as well as work with sport and wider brands to help them connect with their audience through creative content. They are at the forefront of this industry and love to innovate. The Role As Social Media Manager and Copywriter you will be responsible for building a strong relationship with their clients. You will work specifically with their Sports Betting clients through content creation, copywriting, community management, knowledge and delivering work to a high standard and on time. The day-to-day tasks of this role include the following: Client Focus Be agile with client and internal comms in order to turnaround assets and ideas quickly. Maintaining high quality strategic input for your clients in relation to their objectives. Report creation for clients. Client management regards timelines and feedback. Social Media Replying and liking comments on social media channels, adding value to the original content with an authentic tone of voice. Monitoring and replying to direct messages on social media channels, highlighting any issues which cannot be resolved and informing wider members of the team. Proactively searching social media for relevant hashtags and topics to interact with others’ content from our client’s account. Resolving issues regarding social media with support from the wider team. Reactively creating content that is relevant to live events such as Champions League football, weekend football and horse racing. Publishing content live on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and ensuring all spelling, grammar, links and @tags are correct. Team Collaboration Ensure consistent tone of voice and execution for content on all channels across the team. Briefing the Design Team on specific content pieces when required. Undertake general administrative duties as required.
