The company is an up-and-coming player in the area of football sportswear, working with football clubs to create premium bespoke kits that enhance their brand and make the players look and feel great! This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and dedicated Web/UI Designer to have a decisive and varied role in a fast-growing company. It will be a varied and evolving role where you will be fundamental to the online presence and evolution of the company. Their website uses a WordPress WooCommerce setup based on the Avada theme with a custom-built product inventory & checkout solution. Tasks & Responsibilities: Website theme and UI adjustments & improvements in line with the company brand. Bring our brand to life across a variety of digital channels including website, landing pages, social media and email templates. Landing page design & creation. Creation and editing of static info pages; size charts, FAQs, product options pages etc. General site content updates image galleries, blog posts, image and text updates. Liaise with existing third-party IT providers and developers, ensuring we are getting best value for money and they are on track with projects. E-commerce & product Kit Builder workflow optimisation. Adjustment of Kit Builder products and customisation options. E-commerce management (product info, image & price updates). Some knowledge of SEO is an advantage. Key Requirements 3 years relevant experience in a similar or comparable role. Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise multiple projects and identify improvement opportunities. Creative flair & a solutions-oriented approach to design. Up-to-date knowledge of UI & UX trends and conventions. Fluent with the latest CSS developments and features (Flexbox, interactions, transformations and transitions). Good understanding of web usability standards and developments. In-depth working knowledge of all things WordPress. Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Willingness to assist with basic page edits, UI tweaks and troubleshooting as well as creative design and UI development work. Knowledge of JS & PHP would be beneficial. You can expect occasional mundane inhouse IT troubleshooting and should help the company identify suitable third-party providers for IT tasks and services you cannot fulfil inhouse.
